Common starting points

CLIENT GUIDE / FAQ
YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Content, assets & access

What to prepare, what can be developed together, and how to share it safely.

Do I need to supply final copy and images?

For production-ready work, approved content is the best starting point. If you need help shaping copy, art direction, or sourcing imagery, flag that in the brief so we can agree on scope. Those decisions take work too and should be planned into the request.

Can we start before everything is ready?

Sometimes. We can agree on a wireframe, structure, or concept stage using clearly marked placeholders. Final production and approval still depend on the real content. I will explain which parts can move and which need to wait.

Can you use a reference exactly as it is?

References help communicate taste and intent. I use them to understand the qualities you like and develop a solution suited to your business. Please share original brand assets where available and confirm you have permission to use supplied photography, typefaces, and other materials.

What access might you need?

It depends on the request: brand files, website platform access, hosting details, or another relevant service. Use collaborator invitations and the access needed for the task. Do not send passwords, payment details, or private customer records in a design brief.

What if I do not have a brand kit?

Share what you have and tell me what is still undecided. We can establish a practical starting direction or prioritize a logo, visual identity, or brand kit module before making a larger set of assets. Consistent foundations reduce avoidable redesign later.
